Plymouth is known as “America’s Home Town” a coastal town of Massachusetts, founded in 1620 by the Pilgrims. It is known for its American History, Culture and the First Thanksgiving Feast. Tourists come from all over the world to visit Plymouth’s Historic Monuments and Memorials such as the Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, Plimoth Planation and the Forefathers Monument.
Plymouth is the largest Municipality in Massachusetts and is approximately 40 miles south of Boston. Plymouth is divided up into many different villages including the Harbour District, Chlitonville, Manomet, Ellisville, Vallerville, Cedarville and the Pine Hills. The Town of Plymouth also has many reactional parks and walking trials. The Myles Standish Forest is one of the largest publicly owned recreational areas in Plymouth and is surrounded by 16 Lakes and ponds. Some of the amenities include camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking and swimming.
Plymouth’s coastline has many public beaches like Plymouth Beach, Long Beach and White Horse Beach. Plymouth is also home to many private neighborhoods with gorgeous beaches and a few popular ones include Kingsbridge Shores, Manomet Bluffs, Churchills landing, Priscilla Beach and Harlow’s Landing. If you prefer pond over ocean Plymouth has 450 ponds. A few popular ones include White Island, Great Herring, Big Sandy, Billington Sea and Long pond.

The Pinehills has two championship 18-hole golf courses designed by Rees Jones and Nicklaus. The 18-hole course named the “Nicklaus Course” features 7,243 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.3 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bent grass. The second 18-hole named the “Jones Course” features 7,175 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.8 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bent grass. The Old Sandwich Golf Club was designed by Ben Crenshaw/Bill Coore. The 18-hole golf course features 6,908 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 74.1 and it has a slope rating of 139.

The Squirrel Run Golf Course designed by Ray Richards is one of my favorite course to play. This 18-hole golf course features 2,859 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 57. The course rating is 55.4 and it has a slope rating of 85 on Bent grass.

The Waterfront Bar & Grill boasts spectacular views of Plymouth’s historical harbor, from its upstairs, downstairs or outdoor dining. The menu consists of fresh seafood, pastas and choice cut steaks, salads, burgers and an outdoor raw bar where you can find local oysters or little necks.
The Black Raspberry Pub located at the old Plymouth Cordage Company once the home of the largest manufacturer of rope and twine in the world. The Black Raspberry Pub has the best Pizzas in town and very kid friendly. Menu consists of fresh fish, salads, burgers and warps. Ton of appetizers including wings of your choice, nachos and much more. Friday nights starting at 5 is family dinner with an awesome band where the kids can get their dance on.
